Breathe Unity is a Sports Public Relations (PR), Athlete Management and Sports Business Consultancy company, based on the South Coast, offering specifically developed services for businesses, sports events and athletes across all core, watersports, adventure and action sports.
 
The History
 
Breathe Unity was originally founded as South Coast Communications UK in May 2008 after having discovered that there was a real gap in the market for a PR agency with a strong sports-specific yet corporate business background and the understanding, skills and credibility that came with it. We also wanted to change the image of conventional PR in the sports industry to create a rounded unity of services that deliver results, visibility and ultimately streams of revenue.

South Communications UK went from strength to strength from the very early days, which was and still is thanks to an amazing team where every individual brings something unique to the mix and is passionate about not just sports but the business, its clients and athletes. With a depth of experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Sales, Brand Building, Consultancy, Sponsorship, Events and Hospitality, the team is also multi-lingual. Feel free to drop us an email in English, French, German, Luxembourgish or Spanish!

Rebecca Richardson, Managing Director and Founder, has a strong sports industry background with over 18 years of invaluable experience gained and contacts made at high profile companies including adidas and Porsche.  

We initially focused on PR & Communications for sports businesses in Brighton and along the South Coast, but as time went on and our reputation went beyond the South Coast territory and outside the UK we decided to re-brand as Breathe Unity. Breathe Unity is the evolved business which brings with it a widened unity services approach around six channels which include Sports PR, Lifestyle PR, Events, Athlete Management and Business Consultancy.

The Breathe Unity Network (BUN) launched in 2011 and is a dynamic sports unity, a uniquely designed platform and portal allowing members and sports fans to create a free profile, gain exposure and be part of a network of opportunities.

The BUN is designed to build athlete support channels and continue the development of talent in the industry across various sports from niche to mainstream through profile visibility, sponsorship and support supported by sport fans.
